Everyday Oz, An MVLE Moves Production
A contemporary retelling of the Wizard of Oz story, this dance-theater work partners MVLE individuals with professional performers. Equal parts zany and poetic, Everyday Oz includes active audience participation
to reveal the ways that we are smart, compassionate, brave, and creative . . . every day.

Sunday, May 21 – 6:00pm – The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC)

All ‘Everyday Oz’ performances are free and open to the public. To register for this performance please contact Sarah Caldwell at Sarah.Caldwell@mvle.org or 703-337-4846.

BodyWise Dance has partnered with MVLE to lead weekly movement arts programming for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Our dance classes offer participants FUN exercise, personal expression, camaraderie, and creativity. We dance to Michael Jackson, Phillip Glass, Madonna and Prokofiev. A recent improvisation took us on an underwater journey past colorful jellyfish. Anything is possible when we set minds and bodies free.

Colleagues at A Place to Be provide music therapy and collaborate on annual productions. In the words of McFadden and Whitehead, “Ain’t no stoppin’ us now. We’re on the Move!”
